Vendor applications are now available. All spaces are full. We will have a waitlist.

We welcome you to our 10th annual OgunquitFest, a fun-filled weekend of fall-themed events. Activities include pumpkin and cookie decorating, costume parade, classic car show, craft bazaar, Halloween fun house, high heel race, bed race, ghost tours, wagon rides, storytelling, and a scarecrow contest. The schedule has not yet been set, but we have left the 2012 sechedule to give you an idea of activities.

Scarecrow Contest begins Columbus Day Weekend!
Explore the town as businesses decorate and compete for the best scarecrow display. Ballot boxes located around town through Saturday, October 20.

HALLOWEEN FUN HOUSE AT OGUNQUIT VILLAGE SCHOOL, School Street. 4-8pm. Stop in for a child-friendly group of vignettes including touching stations and great photo opportunities! be sure to pick up a coupon in the OgunquitFest brochure for $1 off. (Get another dollar off if everyone comes in costume!) $10 per family. Best for children 8 and under.

AUTUMN BAZAAR 9am-4pm, Main Beach parking lot. Find that one-of-a-kind special item from one of our 65 vendors – get an early jump on your holiday shopping! Donations being accepted for local food pantry or pet food for the Animal Welfare Society.

HORSE-DRAWN WAGON RIDES 10am-4pm, Veterans’ Park. $5 per person. Weather permitting.

GREAT PUMPKIN PATCH PRESENTATION 2:30-4:30pm, Dunaway Center, School Street. An autumn delight for kids of all ages. Pumpkins, paints, markers, and stickers supplied. No carving please.

CHILDREN’S FALL STORYTELLING 4-5pm, Dunaway Center, School Street. Listen to local storyteller Diana Abbott tell tales of spooks and haunted happenings.

GHOSTLY TOURS, 5:30-8:30pm. Ogunquit Heritage Museum, Obeds Lane. Stop in for a ghostly walk through Ogunquit.  Tours by the Ogunquit Heritage Museum. Bring your flashlight – it’s dark out there! $5 Adults, children under 10 free. Weather permitting.

ANTIQUE & CLASSIC CAR SHOW 10am-1pm, Main Beach parking lot. Vote on your favorite classic car! Winners announced at 12:30pm. Free admission.

AUTUMN BAZAAR 10am-3pm, Main Beach parking lot. See Saturday description.

COSTUME PARADE 11am, Ogunquit Square to Main Beach. Costumed kids, adults, and canines welcome! Rain location: Under the tents at the Main Beach Parking Lot. DJJodi will spin tunes for this and the Bed Race that follows.

BRIDGE TO BEACH BED RACE 12-1pm, Beach Street bridge to Main Beach parking lot and back. It’s utter bedlam as teams zoom down Beach Street! Vote on your favorite as teams raise money to vie for the People’s Choice Award. Most Beautiful Bed and Broken Spring winners will also be selected. Weather permitting. New this year: while the Whippersnappers (ages up to 39) keep the same route as always, the Old-Timers (ages 40+) will have a heat of their own with a route that skips the uphill ending!

OPA'S OOMPA BAND 1pm-4pm: Join Cornerstone after the Bed Race for some fun polka music!

HIGH HEEL DASH AND WALK-OFF 3pm, Perkins Cove. Watch the hijinks as brave souls race around Perkins Cove in high heels! Better yet, join in the race! Heels must be at least 2” high, and trophies (and prize money) awarded for Best Time, Highest Heel and Most Outrageous Costume! Proceeds from registration will go to Frannie Peabody Center.
