Friday, February 17, 2012: 
8:30pm: Mardi Gras King & Queen Crowning Competition. MaineStreet. Join us for an Ogunquit Trivia Contest and help to choose the Mardi Gras personalities who will lead Saturday's parade.

Saturday, February 18, 2012: 
10am-noon: Ice Sculpture Demonstration. Fancy That Courtyard. Watch as Wicked Good Ice Carvings creates a Mardi Gras themed ice sculpture before your very eyes!
11:30am  – 1pm: Hat & Mask Making Party. MaineStreet. Make a spectacular hat to wear directly afterward in our hat parade, then take it home as a souvenir of your great weekend in Ogunquit!

1pm: Hat & Mask Parade MaineStreet to Old Village Inn. Wow the crowd with your fabulous fancy hat, or bring a wagon decked out in a Mardi Gras theme. Prizes awarded!
1:30 – 3pm: Parade Awards Ceremony and Entertainment. Old Village Inn. Are you wearing the best hat or pulling the best float? Find out at the Awards Ceremony!
3 – 4:30pm: Island Tones Steel Drum Band Concert. Front Porch. For some extra fun, listen to the caribbean sounds of our local steel drum band. Forget about the snow outside, sip a rum punch, and imagine that you are sitting on a warm beach somewhere ...

Sunday, February 19, 2012
1-3pm: Luncheon:
Team Travelers, the new division of Travel Experts of York presents a special Mardi Gras themed luncheon at the Beachmere Inn pub on Sunday Feb. 19th from 1-3pm to showcase this one-of-a-kind program designed to connect like-minded travelers in New England for small group travel.  Would you travel more if you had great people to travel with?  Reserve your space now for a great presentation of upcoming trips, program benefits, door prizes, and great Mardi Gras food!   A Mardi Gras themed luncheon  serving Chicken Jambalaya, Confetti Salad and New Orleans Style Bread Pudding with coffee service. $ 17.50 per person includes tax and 18% gratuity. All weekend:
Ice Skating at the Community Ice Skating Rink, Cottage Street, next to the Dunaway Center. There's a little rink for the little kids between the Dunaway and the Ogunquit Village School, and a larger rink  across the street for the bigger kids and adults!
